<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to check weather there is a contained item or not even if a resident is in a room by constructing a containing box so as to report to the resident through a wire or radio channel, when a detecting sensor built into the containing box of a mail box or the like detects that an item is inserted thereto. SOLUTION: A detecting sensor 6 for detecting an introduced containing item 5 is built into a containing box 1 of a mail box or the like, and an amplifier circuit 7, a transmitter 9, and a receiver 10 are sequentially connected to the detecting sensor 6. When the containing item 5 is introduced into the containing box 1 and slides down on an inclined guide plate 4 of the bottom of the containing box 1 toward a pulling-out opening 3, a light-penetrating hole 4a of the inclined guide plate 4 is closed, and the detecting sensor 6 detects it. A signal is transmitted from the transmitter 9 to the receiver 10 through the amplifier circuit 7, and presence of the containing item 5 in the containing box 1 is reported to a resident. Thereby, an unnecessary behavior of going to the containing box 1, even though there is no containing item 5, can be eliminated.</p> |
