PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw which can feed a lubricating oil automatically stably for a long period, and maintains a long service life even in the water, or in a bad environment such as a dust and a corrosive gas. SOLUTION: To a ball screw nut 2 which houses numerous balls 3, and screwed to a screw shaft 1 movable relatively in the linear axial direction through rolling of the balls 3, a lubricating oil-impregnating polymer member 10 being a seal material (or a deflector) concurrently is installed slidingly to the screw groove 1b of the screw shaft 1. The lubricating oil is spread gradually from the lubricating oil impregnating polymer member 10, with the passage of time, to carry out the lubricating operation for a long period, and at the same time, the inside of a bearing is shut out from a bad environment on the outside. |
