PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to carry out a simple, low cost, and high accuracy detection of a movable body which moves three positions. SOLUTION: An iron ring sleeve 400 moving integrally with a sleeve 120 has a checkered cutting, and it provides an unevenness in the moving direction opposing to a position detecting sensor 300. Tow detecting elements 310a and 310b are provided on the first detecting line 300, while two detecting elements 320a and 320b are provided on the second detecting line 12. When a first interelement voltage difference VD1 (= the output voltage difference of 310a to 310b) is vh, a first deciding signal HS1=1 is generated, and when it is = -vh, the first deciding signal = 0 is generated. When a second inter-element voltage difference VD2 (= the output voltage difference of 320a to 320b) is vh, a second deciding signal HS2=1 is generated, and when it is -vh, a second deciding signal HS2=0 is generated. When HS1/HS2=1/1, the sleeve 120 is engaged at the first speed side, when HS1/HS2=1/0, the sleeve 120 is at an intermediate position, and when HS1 /HS2=0/1, the sleeve 120 is engaged at the third speed side. |
