METHOD FOR TREATING THE CASES OF PULMONARY INSUFFICIENCY

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing intubation with catheter introduced through one of lumens of double-lumen intubation tube when severe hypoxemia being the case. Oxygenized perfluorene solution prepared on sodium chloride isotonic solution in 1:3-1:10 proportion is introduced under 5-8 mm of mercury column pressure to fill broncho-alveolar space and let it circulate until the blood is saturated with oxygen. Partial oxygen pressure achieving at least 70 mm of mercury column, the solution is removed and artificial ventilation of lungs is continued with oxygen-air mixture to achieve appropriate independent breathing during at least 30 min. EFFECT: eliminated pulmonary insufficiency in emergency state with severe form of hypoxemia.
