PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably keep a position in the circumferential direction for a nozzle and to hold a suction pipe at an appropriate position by a method wherein a fitting part of the nozzle fitted in the manner of moving upward and downward freely onto a base cap fixed to a container main body is formed approximately in an ellipsoidal shape and parts different in level are provided at the part in short dimension of the fitting part. SOLUTION: A pump dispenser is constructed in a structure wherein a nozzle 3 is fitted into an opening of a base cap and liquid housed in a container is sucked up by up-and-down movement of the nozzle 3 through a suction pipe extending in the container toward the container bottom and the liquid is taken out from a spout 317. In order to prevent the nozzle 3 from turning even though the nozzle 3 is forcibly turned, the opening 401 of the base cap 4 and the cross sectional shape of the nozzle 3 are formed approximately in an ellipsoidal shape. While parts different in level 404, 406 are provided in plurality of positions at the sides 41 and 42 whereon the spout 317 of the nozzle 3 is provided, the side 40 opposite to the side whereon the spout 317 of the nozzle 3 is provided is formed in a round part 402 of the ellipsoidal shape. |
