PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transgenic mouse, useful as an experimental animal having excellent synapse response, for elucidating the condition physiology and cause of nervous system and endocrine system in which Doc2α participates, developing a therapy, etc., by making the transgenic mouse deficient in Doc2αgone. SOLUTION: This transgenic mouse is made deficient in Doc2α gene by substitution or insertion of another gene such as a selected marker gene or the like in any partial sequence of Doc2α gene. Preferably the transgenic mouse is prepared by substituting a partial sequence containing a part of a first exon of Doc2α gene with the selected marker gene or inserting the gene into the partial sequence. |
