PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an isolated polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having a specific amino acid sequence and useful for expressing the protein (CSBP β) capable of binding to a cytokine suppressive anti-inflammatory drug (CSAID). SOLUTION: This isolated polynucleotide is selected from a polynucleotide having at least 75% identity with a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence of the formula, a polynucleotide encoding the same amino acid sequence by the multiplicity of genetic codes, a polynucleotide complementary to the above polynucleotides, and a polynucleotide containing at least the 15 continuous bases of the above three polynucleotides. The isolated polynucleotide is obtained by a standard cloning and screening method such as a cDNA-cloning method based on an mRNA from spermary and T-cells.
