PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning handle device for an elevator, which makes its space required for its operations small, and also enhances its safety. SOLUTION: When a turning handle is in use, its mounting part 5 is mounted to the rotating shaft of a take-up machine. Its handle 1 is moved along a guide part 8 to its one end, and the half turn of the handle is made with each knob 2 grasped, which is provided for the end part of the handle. After that, the handle 1 is moved to the other end along the guide part 8, and the another half turn of the handle is made with each knob 2 grasped, which is provided for the other end of the handle. Thus as mentioned above, the rotating shaft 4 of the take-up machine can be rotated by repeating the aforesaid actions. |
