<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital photo printer head producing a highly precise color image having no color shift at a high speed and a digital photo printer employing it. SOLUTION: A digital photo printer head comprises a light source means 9 having a plurality of light emitting parts 9R, 9G and 9B emitting a plurality of luminous flux according to an emission control signal of a driver, means 4 for focusing the plurality of luminous flux emitted from the light source means onto the face of a recording medium 3, and a diffraction grating interposed between the focusing means and the light source means. The plurality of light emitting parts are arranged at such positions the luminous flux impinging on the diffraction grating from forward direction is decomposed in the subscanning direction into a plurality of color lights and condensed. A plurality of luminous flux emitted simultaneously from the plurality of light emitting parts impinge on the diffraction grating from reverse direction and then they are combined and focused on the face of a recording medium by the focus means thus recording an image.</p> |
