<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a full-color line scanning optical printer having a light source of LED in which resolution and fidelity of color reproduction (hue reproduction) are enhanced while eliminating color shift of reproduced image. SOLUTION: Three colors of linear light, substantially of red, green and blue, being emitted from LEDs 12r, 12g and 12b while time sharing in synchronism with opening/closing of a shutter are shifted relatively to a photosensitive material in order to expose the photosensitive material in synchronism with opening/closing of the shutter thus forming an image. In such a line scanning optical printer, the LEDs of different color are arranged at different positions with respect to the direction vertical to the scanning line (B5-86) and the widths sr, sg and sb in the direction vertical to the scanning line are entirely set to fall within 10% around a specified dimension.</p> |
