PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyether-ester-amide with improved yellow-based discoloration properties, to obtain an antistatic agent by using the polyether-ester-amide, and further to obtain a resin composition having sustained type antistatic properties and good in balance of mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This polyether-ester-amide is obtained by reacting (a) at least one kind of an amide-forming component selected from an aminocarboxylic acid, a lactam and a salt synthesized from a diamine and a dicarboxylic acid, (b) a polyoxyalkylene glycol, (c) a dicarboxylic acid and (d) a compound having at least three functional groups of at least one kind selected from hydroxy group, carboxyl group and amino group in a molecule, and has 1-4 reduced viscosity (measured as 0.5 wt.% formic acid solution at 25 deg.C). The antistatic thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by compounding a thermoplastic resin with the antistatic agent. |
