PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photo-functional soil improving material capable of preventing the propagation of harmful bacteria unnecessary for the growth of a plant despite of a non-agrochemical method, utilizing a photo catalyst without using a fire and preventing a secondary calamity, and to provide a method for using the same material. SOLUTION: This photo-functional soil improving material is obtained by forming the material with a transparent material penetrating ultraviolet rays as a thin funnel like 1 and a sheet like shapes, or directly a pot 12 and a planter, installing area-increasing means 1a, 1b and also a titanium dioxide membrane 2 on the surface thereof, and burying into a soil to be improved so that a part thereof is protruded from the surface of the soil on utilizing the same. |
