PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of troubles such as a reception impossibility in spite of a sufficient quantity of a recording material, etc., by printing a predetermined pattern on the same recording paper successively to image data when the image data in a memory means is printed on the recording paper at a first time, and printing the predetermined pattern prior to the printing of the image data when the image data is re-printed. SOLUTION: When image data in a memory means is printed out in units of pages and if a predetermined pattern 20 printed on the same recording paper successively to the printed output is not confirmed after the printing process, re-printing is conducted to sequentially print the predetermined pattern, image data onto a new recording paper. When the reprint predetermined pattern is confirmed, printing of a next page is started. Even when a printed recording paper 2 is not fed and the printed predetermined pattern 20 cannot be detected although a sufficient quantity of ink remains at the time of first printing of the image data, the predetermined pattern is printed to a head part of the next recording paper and confirmed. The image data can be continuously printed at the next page and thereafter when the predetermined pattern is confirmed. |
