FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: pickup has front shaft, rear shaft, endless belt running around shafts, two sides with belt tightening units. Steel clamps are attached to belt surface. Doubled picking finger with two springs is fixed to base of each clamp. During operation of pickup, fingers comb stubble, lift it onto conveyor upper run and throw it below rotating auger onto combine header platform. Mechanism for attaching finger to clamp maintains optimum angle of fingers relative to belt. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation of pickup and unit. 3 dwg
