PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin/polyphenylene ether polymer composition having markedly improved compatibility and an excellent balance between impact resistance and rigidity and to provide an electric wire or cable covering material comprising the same. SOLUTION: There are provided a polymer composition comprising (a) 20-60 pts.wt. polyolefin, (b) 30-60 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether, (c) pseudo-random copolymer of an α-olefin with an aromatic monovinylidene compound and (d) a product of hydrogenation of a vinylaromatic compound/conjugated diene compound block copolymer, the total amount of components (c) and (d) being 5-50 pts.wt., and an electric wire or cable covering material comprising the same. |
