PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt transfer type ink image receiving sheet capable of obtaining a print ink image which is excellent in tone reproduction and dot reproduction including recording density, and difficult to generate an image cross streak. SOLUTION: A sheet shaped substrate, a porous layer formed of resin- containing liquid having an aqueous resin and/or a water dispersion type resin as main constituents on at least one side thereof, and an ink image receiving layer formed by penetrating an aqueous polyurethane resin into a porous layer by applying that onto the porous layer, are provided. An average pore diameter of a surface of the ink image receiving layer is 0.5 to 30 μm, and 100% modulus by JIS K 6301 of the aqueous polyurethane resin is 250 kg/cm<2> or over. |
