PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a game screen which is easy to see for a player by judging whether or not an object exists within a specific area in virtual space, and by adjusting the angle of a virtual camera. SOLUTION: From an object table one datum on a line polygon is read, and a present position in the world coordinate system (X-Z plane) of a camera and an angle ϕ in the direction of the apex Pn of the line polygon seen from the position of the camera are read, (n=1-4). Next, the apex Pn of the line polygon and the camera angle ϕn are compared, and the apex of the rear edge of the line and the apex of its front edge are discriminated. And, in the case the apex Pn is at the rear edge of a line object and a distance to the apex Pn is, for example, 10 m or more, a specific value is added to a value in the y-axis direction (height direction) of the coordinate data of the apex Pn of the rear edge of the line, thereby raising the rear edge of the line polygon from ground. |
