An immobilising device for immobilising a vehicle comprises first and second limbs 10,12 rigidly connected together, the limbs being spaced apart sufficiently to receive a vehicle wheel between them, one of the limbs comprising lockings means 18 adapted to be releasably securable to a nut or bolt by which a wheel is secured to a vehicle. The locking means may be key operated such that a locking arm is pivoted so as to engage the wheel nut or bolt. |
