PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the elimination of organic stain stuck to the surface of a heat resistance article and, at the same time, to perform sterilization. SOLUTION: An article stained by an organic material is housed in a heating container 1, heated by a heater 3 capable of heating, for example up to 600 deg.C, and this stain is burned to become ash. Then, water is fed through a water supply pipe 4 into the heating container 1, and the ash is eliminated. The water or liquid mixed with ash is discharged through an exhaust pipe 8. Also, for efficiently eliminating inorganic components remaining in the ash, instead of water, weak acid liquid such as dilute hydrochloric acid, carbonic acid or the like is supplied into the heating container 1. |
