PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability while shortening drying time, reducing the consumption of tap water, lengthening the life of electrical equipment, and further maintaining performance in heat exchange. SOLUTION: Switching valves 17a-17c are set so as to flow drum exhaust in a direction along a solid line arrow. When a heater 9 is energized to start drying in this state, high temperature and humid exhaust ejected from a drum 1 is heat-exchanged with the mixed air of water-cooled and dehumidified low- temperature air and indoor air in a heat exchanger 5 after waste thread in the exhaust are captured by a filter 7. The heat-exchanged air is further cooled by tap water in a cooling and dehumidifying duct 6 and is supplied for the low-temperature side of the heat exchanger 5 as water-cooled dehumidified low-temperature air. This air takes in indoor air sucked from a hole partially provided at the upstream duct by the working of a dry-air fan 8, is heat- exchanged in the heat exchanger 5, then is heated by the heater 9, and is supplied for the drum 1. |
