PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic card which reduces chances for a transfer foil seal bonded to a specific position on a magnetic card to come into contact with another object to an exceedingly great extent and is hardly marred by providing protrusions which are higher than the thickness of a transfer foil around the transfer foil seal and within the limits of the height of an embossment such as code number, name or the like. SOLUTION: In the magnetic card 10 on which a transfer foil seal 12 for forgery-proofness, the magnetic card 10 has a protrusion pat 15 formed on the surface of the card 10 around the transfer foil seal 12. This protrusion part 15 is made up of a plurality of protrusions which are embossed or formed in foamable ink. The protrusion part 15 is made to jut out of the surface of the card 10 within the height range of 0.1-0.48 mm. Thus it is possible to prevent a diffraction grating pattern formed on the transfer foil seal 12 from becoming marred or abraded by a reader/writer, a cash dispenser, a card case or the like. |
