PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydrolyzable cleanly wiping paper having sufficient wet strength for clean wiping, dischargeable in a toilet by wash in water, by mixing a regenerated cellulose fiber with a fine pulp fiber in a wet state to give a fiber sheet, subjecting the fiber sheet to high-pressure water flow jet interlacing treatment and impregnating the interlaced sheet with an aqueous sanitizer. SOLUTION: A water-dispersible fiber raw material comprising a mixture of 25-75 wt.% of a regenerated cellulose fiber having 1-10 de and 75-25 wt.% of a fiber pulp fiber is subjected to sheet forming in a wet state to form a fiber sheet, to which a high-pressure water jet flow is applied to mutually interlace the constituent fibers. The sheet is dried to give a hydrolyzable nonwoven fabric, which is impregnated with 100-300% based on weight of an aqueous sanitizer composed of 0.001-2 wt.% of one or a combination of two or more of antimicrobial agents such as a p-oxybenzoic acid ester or the like and/or 1-4 wt.% of a water-soluble organic solvent such as propylene glycol or the like to give a hydrolyzable cleanly wiping paper. The cleanly wiping paper is sealed in a substantially steam impermeable soft packaging material to form a form a packaged body. |
