<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc caliper and a wheel cylinder which suppress an oscillation phenomenon of a piston, and allow the piston to operate normally for the long term. SOLUTION: In a disc caliper, grease is amply filled between a groove 1a for fitting a piston seal 3 to be fitted thereto, which is provided on the inner surface of a cylinder and the piston seal 3, between the outer surface of a dust boot 4 and a caliper body 1, between the inner surface of the dust boot 4 and a piston 2, and in the space defined by the dust boot 4, the caliper 1, the piston 2, and the piston seal 3. In a wheel cylinder, grease is amply filled between a piston and a cup seal, and in the space defined by the piston, a cylinder body, and the dust boot 4.</p> |
