PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device to alarm the stage of the damaged shift gear of an automatic transmission to a driver, and to apply a new shift pattern excluding the stage of the damaged shift gear. SOLUTION: An abnormal vibration perceiving part 100 perceives the vibration level of a shift gear, and generates an abnormal vibration signal 131. A controller 200 responds to the abnormal vibration signal 131 from the abnormal vibration perceiving part 100, and provides a first and a second shift control signals 212 and 213 in order to control shift operation of the shift gear. A shift driving part 400 carries out the shift operation according to the first and the second shift signals 212 and 213. As a result, since the automatic transmission does not select the shift stage using the damage shift gear, when a specific stage of shift gear is damaged, a traffic accident by the damage of the shift gear can be prevented. |
