FIELD: bridge-building technology. SUBSTANCE: stay-type bridge has pylons, metal stiffening beam, and stays which are spiral-like arranged with respect to stiffening beam. Stays are secured on pylons. Pylons are made with circular head-pieces. Stays are spiral-like fastened on circular head-pieces with displacement over length of circumference within limits of <EMI ID=0.156 HE=3 WI=21 TI=CHI>, thus creating contour of variable cross-section which is narrowing towards middle part of bridge span structure. Metal stiffening beam is formed by lateral rigidity bands which connect crossing units of stays and also by longitudinal beams which are placed on rigidity bands within limits of carriage way of bridge span structure. Aforesaid embodiment of bridge ensures uniform distribution of stresses in load-bearing section of bridge and adds rigidity to bridge construction. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 5 dwg
