PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verandah handrail wall mounting structure being lightweight and excellent in appearance and an ALC panel for use with the structure. SOLUTION: In a verandah handrail wall mounting structure, a panel provided with at least one pair of parallel through holes open to the upper and lower end faces of an ALC panel 1 is mounted on a parapet part 10a at the end of a verandah floor made of reinforced concrete, which projects outward from the exterior wall of a building. In that case, the anchor of a horizontal base metal fitting from which a plurality of vertical screw parts are projected is buried in a cutout part 10b provided in the parapet part 10a, and the bottom surface of a mounting member with a vertical oblong nut secured thereto is fitted over the screw part of the base metal fitting. A bolt or a threaded rod passing through a slit in the panel 1 placed upright on the parapet part 10a is threaded into the oblong nut of the mounting member at its lower end and is secured to the upper end surface of the panel at its upper end.
