PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the service life of a pneumatic radial tire by forming the tread part of the tire installed on a vehicle in an asymmetric pattern different between an inside area and an outside area, and forming the outside area in a pattern having the actually grounding area becoming larger than a width directional central area of the tread part. SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire 1 is formed in an asymmetric pattern with the width directional one side of the tread part 2 in a tire 1 installed on a vehicle as an inside area 3 and the other side as an outside area 4. A connecting inverse oblique groove 11 and the auxiliary recessed part 12 are arranged in the almost half part of a circumferential groove 5, a lateral groove 6 and a main oblique groove 8 in the inside area 3. A sub-oblique groove 9, an inverse oblique groove 10 and the auxiliary recessed part 13 are arranged in the other almost half part of the main oblique groove 8 in the outside area 4. Block rigidity required to improve dry performance can be obtained by forming this outside area 4 in a pattern having the actually grounding area becoming larger than a width directional central area of the tread part 2. |
