FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: fresh charge is fed into cylinder at slow speeds through intake valve and leaf valve installed before intake valve in intake channel, and at high speeds filling of cylinder with fresh charge is carried out through intake valve at fully opened intake channel. Leaf valve consists of two detachable halves and has flange with through cutout in which body is secured to provide turning of each half around its axis, and lock mechanism is provided to hold parts of body in operating position. EFFECT: provision of better filling of cylinders with fresh charge at slow speeds of crankshaft rotation. 3 cl, 2 dwg
