PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail fuel injection device which is improved and particularly has a simple design. SOLUTION: A common rail fuel injection device 8 for an internal combustion engine 10 is operated using a rail 12. The rail 12 is arranged in parallel with a cylinder head housing 14 and has a pressure space 20 and an opening part 22 for storing an injector 24. The injector 24 is inserted into an injector opening part 28 of the cylinder head housing 14 which is on an extension of the opening part 22 while penetrating the opening part 22 of the rail 12 and is fitted in the opening part 22. Each injector 24 has an inlet opening part 38 in a part of the pressure space 20 of the rail 12, and a pressure medium can flow into the injector 24 directly through the inlet opening part 38 from the pressure space 20.
