PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and exactly judge whether or not re-pressing is to be performed by providing a pressure a short discriminating means for detecting a pulse to be changed from the first prescribed pressure of a pressure signal to the second prescribed pressure and discriminating whether pressure is lacked or not by comparing the characteristic value of the pulse with a reference value. SOLUTION: A pressure means 3 presses a cuff 1 and when pressure in the cuff 1 reaches standard pressure stored in a pressing force selecting means 63, pressing is stopped. Continuously, the pressure means 3 reduces the pressure of the cuff 1 and when the first prescribed pressure is reached after the start of pressure reduction, a pulse wave detecting means 61 starts detecting the pulse wave of the cuff 1. When the standard pressure is lacked, the pulse wave detecting means 61 monitors pressure signals within the monitoring range up to the second prescribed pressure from the time point when the pressure in the cuff 1 reaches the first prescribed pressure, and detects the pulse wave. When the characteristic value of the detected first or second pulse wave is larger than the standard value stored in a pressure lack discriminating means 64, the pressure discriminating means 64 discriminates the lack of pressure.
|
