PURPOSE:To enable a tungsten-base sintered allay heat dissipating structural member to be lessened in weight and thin-walled by a method wherein Ni, Fe, and Co contained in Cu alloy filled into a skeleton structure formed of tungsten particles are set to a specific range of content. CONSTITUTION:A heat dissipating structural member is possessed of a skeleton structure formed of adjacently joined tungsten (indicated by W) particles, and the ratio of the skeleton structure to all the heat dissipating structural member amounts to 84 to 88%. The residual % of Cu allay is filled into W particles, and Cu alloy substantially composed of 20 to 30% Ni by weight, 0.5 to 10% both or either of Fe and Co by weight (Ni+(Fe+Co):305% or below), and a residual % by weight of Cu is filled into the W-particle skeleton structure as W-base sintered alloy. In result, a heat dissipating structural member can be kept low in thermal expansion coefficient due to its skeleton structure, high in mechanical strength due to its skeleton structure and Cu alloy filled into the skeleton structure, and high in thermal conductivity due to Cu alloy. |
