摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of thyratrons by installing a floating plate in such a way that it is capable of freely advancing/retreating, holding it in the advance position by means of an elastic body, and connecting the floating plate with a high-voltage power supply and a capacitor through an elastically deformable connecting member. CONSTITUTION:A guide pin 17 passes through each of the four through holes 16a in a floating plate 16. An elastic body 18, such as a coil spring, fits onto the periphery of the end of each guide pin 17, projecting at the bottom of the plate 16. The threaded portion of the end of each guide pin 17 is screwed into an insulating plate 15. A copper adjusting nut 21 is screwed into the screw hole 16b at the center of the plate 16. The upper end of the through hole 21A in the adjusting nut 21 is tapered (21a). A copper cap 22 put on the end of the positive pole 4A of a thyratron 4 is pressed against the tapered area 21a. A main capacitor C1 and a high-voltage power supply are electrically connected with the plate 16 by means of a flexible connecting member 23 or the like. This makes it unnecessary to perform a fine adjustment when replacing thyratrons even if there is any manufacturing error between the new thyratron and the old one.
