PURPOSE:To facilitate the use of COT(cyclooctatetraene) useful as a triplet quencher by decreasing the odor of COT and to improve the efficiency of a dye laser and reduce the load on a circulation apparatus by adding the COT to a dye laser solution. CONSTITUTION:This clathrate compound having decreased odor and useful for a dye laser device is produced by clathrating and solidifying COT (cyclooctatetraene) with alpha-CD(cyclodextrin). This dye laser device is obtained by adding the clathrate compound to a solution obtained by dissolving a fluorescent dye in a solvent and using the obtained mixture as the dye solution for laser. |
