The motor consists of a housing containing a drum or rotor divided along a parting plane (E - E') so that each is in two sections (1, 2; 3, 4). The two sections of the housing are joined by connecting plates (8), and the drum or rotor shaft is supported by bearings (9) on one side only. The drum contains two combustion chambers, each in the shape of a semi-crescent with a truncated pyramidal cavity converging towards the center of the drum, where fuel and compressed air are injected and ignited. The burned gases are ejected through a rear port (19) closed by an inner or outer valve (20).
