The hook (1) consists of an extended body (2) and a cradle (3) forming a hook which is fixed by welding to the latter at one of its ends just above an opening (4) in the body formed at right angles to the axis of the body by an operation of slitting and bending (5,6). Anchor points are provided at either end of the body (8,9) for fixing it to the rafters.
