The connection device comprises a connector (15) with two female end fittings and a flexible pipe (9) which replaces the usual direct system pipe. The flexible pipe is connected on the average pressure part of the first stage regulator (1) on the compressed air bottle. At its free end is a quarter turn valve (10) with a male end fitting (12) identical to that of the inflator (13) of an inflatable jacket (14).
