The turbine blade has an internal space (5) supplied with a cooling medium (17), enclosed by an outer wall, over which the working fluid, e.g. a hot gas, is directed, with an opening (22) provided in the outer wall for insertion of an inspection and/or cleaning tool. The inspection opening may be provided adjacent the foot end (7) of the turbine blade and extends parallel to the normal to the surface of the turbine blade.
