Hole-making device has a sheet holder (8), a pressure piece (1) projecting over the drawing plane (9) of the holder and movable perpendicularly to the drawing plane in the sheet holder, and a hole punch (2) which can be moved in the pressure piece. The pressure piece is connected at its end facing away from the drawing zone to the hole punch via a cushion (5). There may be a pressure insert (3) between the cushion and the hole punch.
