Particulate filter for extremely hot gases from pulverized fuel combustion, with application envisaged in gas turbine power generation plant
摘要
The filter comprises a fluidized bed of heat-resistant spheres or particles (hereafter granules), onto which the unwanted particles (hereafter particulates) are adsorbed. An Independent claim is included for use in filtering flue gases from coal PF (pulverized fuel) combustion. Preferred features: The granules are no greater than 1 mm in diameter, on average. The fluidized bed follows a first filtration unit (static ceramic). Adsorbent granules are continuously exchanged with regenerated granules. Granules have higher specific gravity than unwanted particulates. The gas to be cleaned is fed upwardly through the fluidized bed.
