A compact disc having a shape such that not all parts of the periphery are an equal distance from a centre of the play locating aperture but arranged so as to be balanced. There is also described an arrangement where there are at least two spaced apart portions of the periphery which are an equal distance from the centre of the aperture which enable appropriate location of the disc readily in a receiving tray for insertion into a playing machine. |
