<p>A surface acoustic wave transducer having an improved attenuation slope on the high frequency side near the pass band of a primary-tertiary longitudinal-coupling double-mode SAW filter, wherein basic sections (μ) each including an electrode finger (1) having a width (W1), an electrode finger (2) having a width (W2) and spaced with a gap (g1) from the electrode finger (1), and an electrode finger (3) having a width (W3) and spaced with a gap (g2) from the finger (W2) are provided on a piezoelectric substrate, the electrode fingers (1, 3) are driven in phase, the electrode finger (2) is driven in the opposite phase to those of the others, the widths (W1, W3) are W1 = W3, and the gaps (g1, g2) are g1 = g2.</p> |
