The actuation element (1) includes a unit which is inserted in the actuation element. The unit generates electrical signals using the spatial run of the axis of the actuation element in relation to the direction of the gravitation force. Preferably, the actuation element is a hand-held actuation element. A setting button (7) is provided and when actuated the spatial run of the actuation axis is used as reference value for generating signals which correspond to the run of the axis.
