A transport device conveys sample holders with medical specimens to and from treatment stations as well as sampling and dispensing stations within an autosampler. The transport device consists of a carriage which is conveyable horizontally along at least one axis with a vertically conveyable hoisting device and, arranged on the hoisting device, a coupling element for the sample holder. A collecting device to catch any liquid dripping from the sample holder can be placed underneath the sample holder during transport. |
