Sensor magnet with magnetizing pattern with at least two different width switching sections between pole transitions

Each switching section (1a,1b) of the sensor magnet (1) has a strongly reduced magnetisation in the middle between the pole transitions (2). The magnetisation in the region of the pole transition (2) is at its highest, and there as quickly as possible reverses in direction. The magnetisation in the region of the middle of the wider switching section (1b) nearly disappears, namely falling back below 10 per cent of the saturation magnetization.
