The bearing shell(26) concentrically encloses one section(24) of the spindle(22) and forms a first axis(34) which forms an angle( alpha ) with a second axis(36) extending through a section(32) which has the wiper arm mounting(28). The spindle may be bent, curved or cranked. A third axis extending through the wiper arm mounting forms an angle with the second axis of the adjacent section of the spindle.
