<p>A protein or proteins contained in a supernatant inhibiting recruitment of haemopoietic progenitor or stem cells, preferably of the myeloid lineages, is described. Furthermore, a process for the preparation of the protein or proteins in the supernatant and the enrichment of such an acidic protein or proteins by means of affinity and ion exchange chromatography and an assay to determine the activity of such an acidic protein or such acidic proteins are disclosed.</p> |
