A STRAP ASSEMBLY

A strap assembly comprising a first section (10) made from flat shock cord (11) having a loop (12) at one end and a female section (13) of a side release buckle at the opposite end, and a second section (14) made from flat webbing (15) having a loop (16) and fitted with a pull through male section (17) of a side release buckle that can be connected to the female section (13) in the usually way to form the strap assembly according to the present invention. Thus the section (18) of webbing can be used to tighten the strap assembly against the tension of the shock cord (11).
