The lightweight gravestone (1) is embodied as a hollow gravestone and is composed of thin glued natural stone plates (2). It can be screwed down or up in a simple manner with a foundation consisting of two pedestals (4) and a foundation plate (5). The lightweight gravestone (1) looks like a solid gravestone but is lighter, cheaper and easier to insert into a burial place and to remove. It also allows for secure storage of all objects required to honour the dead and to look after the grave inside a cavity. |
