SHADOW MASK FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME

Disclosed is a shadow mask for a cathode ray tube (CRT) and a method of manufacturing the same. The shadow mask includes a solid solution hardening material and a precipitation hardening material. The method includes the steps of heat treating a metallic plate having a plurality of apertures form ed therein using a carburizing gas, and press forming the metallic plate into a shadow mask shape.
