PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image controller and digital printer by which an image with a watermark is easily and quickly produced. SOLUTION: In mask information MI consisting of an image mask, bits corresponding to all pixels are set to '0' in an original image area OA and bits of '0' and '1' are intermingled in a watermark area TA. Pixel contents OP of an original image are outputted for pixels of an output image corresponding to bits '0' of replacement information and pixel contents VP of a variable image are outputted for pixels of an output image corresponding to bits '1' of replacement information. Based on the mask information MI, which of the original image or the variable image is to be outputted for each pixel is controlled, then the image with the watermark image is easily and quickly generated. |
